Heritage Place Yearling Sale - Thursday, September 24

As promised by the power company, the lights were back on Thursday morning after Wednesday’s electrical mishap. Day One of the 37th Annual Heritage Place Yearling Sale began promptly at 10:00 a.m. with auctioneers Danny Green and Randy Woodward selling hip numbers 1 through 295. Attendance was high with a full parking lot for the event. Buyers were at the sale barn early, looking for their next purchase and consignors prepped their yearlings to bring in the most money possible.
On the first day the Heritage Place Yearling Sale's top five sellers brought in $739,000 - 3 being colts and 2 fillies.
- Hip #51 Juke Box Jess - colt (One Sweet Jess-Jukebox Dash, First Down Dash) - sold for $400,000 consigned by Gustavo De La Torre & San Gregorio - bought by Israel Putino
- Hip #264 Lethal Fancy - filly (PYC Paint Your Wagon-Lethal Delight, Dean Miracle) - sold for $103,000 consigned by P.K. Thomas - bought by Vic Hansen
- Hip #176 Party Down South - filly (Corona Cartel-Party Girl Affair, Streakin La Jolla) - sold for $85,000 consigned by Robert & Karen Nunnally - bought by Brenda Reiswig
- Hip #106 One Dream At A Time - colt (One Famous Eagle-In His Dreams, Apollo TB) - $80,000 consigned by J.E. Jumonville, Jr. - bought by Paragon Farms, LLC (Tom Lipar)
- Hip #233 Business Solutions - colt (Mr Ottyes-Romancing Mary, Tres Seis) - sold for $71,000 consigned by Tyler Graham & John Mayers - bought by Double A Ranch
