Cars overflowed to the highway at Ruidoso Downs Race Track Sunday afternoon for the All American Derby and several other prestigious Quarter Horse races. After the races were over the final day of the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale started over at the sale pavilion.
There were six Quarter Horse races scheduled for the day, including the $25,000 First Moonflash Stakes and the $20,000 Cesar Gomez Memorial. The second day of the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale resumed after racing was concluded, bringing in a total of $5,535,500.
