Los Alamitos Welcomes Back Fans

LOS ALAMITOS, CA—MARCH 31, 2021—Los Alamitos Race Course, the home of fast horses and friendly people, will once again be open to the public and is ready to welcome all the great horse racing fans for the first time in over a year starting Friday with an exciting eight-race live program on tap. 

On-track fans will be able to enjoy an action-packed card headed by six straightaway Quarter Horse racing with four of those events featuring the racing stars of the future at Los Alamitos, the 2-year-old Quarter Horse sprinters. 

A total of 29 juveniles will compete on Friday night starting in race three and continuing through race six. The field sizes are 6,8,7 and 8. Keep an eye on Link Newcomb’s Valente One, a $60,000 purchased at the Ruidoso Sale last year, as he’ll debut in race five. Ed Allred’s Hitters Count is another promising youngster and he’ll debut in the sixth race. 

The feature is the $13,200 allowance event in race eight with a line-up that will include Los Alamitos Maiden Stakes winner Communicate, who won the $101,250 race at 7-1 odds.
