Many sale attendees came out early Friday morning to hear an update given by Texas Quarter Horse Association Director of Racing Rob Werstler concerning the racing situation in Texas. After the meeting, day two of the 37th Annual Heritage Place Yearling Sale began promptly at 10:00 a.m. without a hitch.

As promised by the power company, the lights were back on Thursday morning after Wednesday’s electrical mishap. Day One of the 37th Annual Heritage Place Yearling Sale began promptly at 10:00 a.m. with auctioneers Danny Green and Randy Woodward.

The 37th Annual Heritage Place Yearling Sale kicked off with a bang... literally. The PreSale party started at 5:00 p.m. the evening before the big event. Just as the party got started, an oilfield truck across the street hooked a power line and pulled down 4 poles.
